Heads Up: Romand’s Juicy Lasting Tints Just Got Better (and There’s a Pop-Up Too!)

The Romand Juicy Lasting Tint is easily one of the brand’s most iconic products. I even featured it in the Glossy Lip Tint Throwdown, where it earned a solid, well-rounded score. So imagine my surprise when Romand decided to give it an upgrade—and on top of that, they introduced five new shades! How do you improve on something that’s already so good? Let’s find out.

The reformulated Romand Juicy Lasting Tint (~P394 each, depending on the sale) promises “an even higher shine finish with longer-lasting color, hydration, and glossiness” compared to the original formula. It also comes in a refreshed glossy packaging—2025’s JLT now features a sleek outer tube with a pretty gradient finish that makes it look even more luxe. The applicator is still basically the same, save for a tiny tweak in its length that’s barely noticeable.

Fans of the original collection will be happy to know that 18 of their most-loved shades made it into the relaunch—so your go-to color is probably still here! On top of that, Romand introduced five new shades, which were actually created by mixing existing shades from the lineup (a fun little tidbit they shared over on Romand Philippines’ socials!). While swatching, I noticed that two of the new shades—21 Grape Bomb (a cool reddish pink) and 22 Dotori Bomb (a chili brick)—left quite a stain on my arm, even with just a quick swipe. They’re both a bit bolder than what I usually go for, so I tend to wear Grape Bomb as a lip accent or save it for days when I want a bright pop of color. My go-to shades lean cooler, like 23 Peach Peach Me and 03 Bare Grape, with the neutral warm 20 Juju Fig also making the cut. The colors do deepen slightly after application, but nothing too dramatic, as it’s just enough to enhance the tone while staying true to the original shade.

To celebrate the relaunch, Romand set up a pop-up event called The Juicy Market at the Ground Floor of SM Makati Concourse, running until May 7. I got to check it out during the launch, and it’s such a fun set-up! You can swatch all the Juicy Lasting Tints in person and there are plenty of cute photo spots to really soak in the vibe. Another new launch from Romand is the Slide In Singles (~P215 per shade, depending on the sale)—a customizable eyeshadow system that lets you build your own palette. While it was first revealed back in early March, The Juicy Marketevent marks the collection’s official offline release. With 50 shades in total, it’s a pretty generous range for an eyeshadow line. You’ve got 6 glitter finishes, 17 shimmers, and 27 mattes to play with. The formula is impressive too—quite pigmented, smooth to apply, and not powdery at all. The swatches below? Just one swipe each.

The Romand Slide In Single eyeshadows are super convenient, especially for travel or if you love switching up your eye looks often. They’re compact, easy to mix and match, and great for experimenting without committing to a full palette. Right now, there’s a promo where if you buy four Singles, you get a free Slide in Single case—basically letting you build your own eyeshadow quad, customized exactly to your taste and needs. I do wish they offered a larger palette option though, for those of us who like curating a wider range of shades in one place. Fingers crossed they come out with one soon!
