Everybody is obsessed with Kylie Jenner's full, matte-to-the-hilt lips. She also has a knack for choosing the best flattering and dramatic colors for her skin tone, which is one of the reasons she has become such a beauty phenomenon. You can say whatever you want about the Kardashians, but they know exactly what they're doing.
If you've always liked Kylie's nude lip picks, I think you'll like the the Essence Love & Sound Lipstick in Glastonberry (P279). This is a limited edition lippie that's really affordable! The color is a mauvey greige (grey + beige) that is opaque in about two swipes and has a creme (almost matte) finish. I like that it's non-drying and comes in a pretty matte tube.
Glastonberry is a unique, expensive-looking color. I don't think it would flatter darker skin tones since it's grey and a bit pale but on me, it works! It looks blah when I wear it with zero makeup but once I've got my full face on it just looks fantastic.
I've been lining my lips recently with a pencil, and Glastonberry looks even prettier with a nude liner underneath it. The pink shows up more! I've been using an Etude House lip liner which I can't find at the moment so I can't write down the name. -_- Anyway, any nude liner should do! I wore one in my FOTD photo.
So yes, try the Essence Love & Sound Lipstick in Glastonberry if you want to shake up your nude lip game a bit. It's only P270 too! I would love to try more Essence lipsticks in the future since the formula is good and the colors are fancy.
