Who doesn’t want bright and glowing skin like Innisfree’s brand ambassador, Jang Won Young? That’s exactly the kind of radiance I’m aiming for as I try a new skincare routine featuring Innisfree’s latest launch: the Vitamin C Green Tea Enzyme Brightening Cream. This new addition to their lineup promises to deliver clearer, more radiant skin by combining the brightening power of Vitamin C—great for tackling dark spots and dullness—with the gentle exfoliating benefits of Green Tea enzymes.

My Innisfree Vitamin C Morning Routine
I kick things off with the Innisfree Vitamin C Green Tea Enzyme Brightening Pad (P1,600), which is basically the pad version of their Vitamin C serum. The instructions recommend placing the pads on targeted areas for 10–20 minutes as an intensive treatment before flipping the pad over to wipe the rest of your face. While I try to follow that on slower mornings, most days I just use it as a regular toner pad to gently exfoliate—and honestly, it still makes a noticeable difference. My cushion base applies so much more smoothly after using this!

Next comes one of Innisfree’s best-sellers, the Vitamin C Green Tea Enzyme Brightening Serum (P2,050 for 30ml, P2,800 for 50ml). It promises to visibly fade dark spots by 45% in just 7 days, so it's no surprise they report that a bottle sells every 30 seconds. I’ve tried nearly all Innisfree serums, and this one quickly became a favorite for brightening. Every time I return to using a Vitamin C serum, I notice my skin developing a healthy, lit-from-within glow. This one definitely delivers on that promise.

L-R Swatches: Innisfree Vitamin C Green Tea Enzyme Brightening Serum, Innisfree Vitamin C Green Tea Enzyme Brightening Cream
Finally, I seal everything in with the new Innisfree Vitamin C Green Tea Enzyme Brightening Cream (P1,660). Even though it’s called a cream, the texture is more of a lightweight gel that sinks into the skin quickly. It’s packed with Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane for hydration, while Vitamin C capsules, Green Tea enzymes, and a blend of 10 multivitamins work to target dark spots and uneven tone—as early as 7 days, according to the brand. What I love most is how fresh and light it feels on the skin, which is perfect for this heat.

To make the most of this routine, here are a few things I’ve learned along the way:
For daytime use, gently massage the cream into your skin to "pop" the Vitamin C capsules and help them absorb better. And of course, don’t skip sunscreen—especially when using Vitamin C, since it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. At night, it’s actually recommended to apply a thicker layer (about two to three times more than usual) so it works like a sleeping mask.
That said, as someone with dry skin, I found that the moisture from the cream alone wasn’t quite enough, especially after using the Brightening Pad several days in a row. I had to supplement it with a hydrating serum like the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Hyaluronic Serum (P1,690 for 80ml), which helped keep my skin comfortable. If you have a similar skin type, I’d suggest alternating the days you use the Brightening Pad or using it more like a mask pad to avoid unnecessary friction.
Also, a quick word of caution—pace yourself when using actives like retinol. I got a little too excited with the glow I was seeing after a few days and used it two nights in a row at the end of the week. The result? Redness around my chin. A good reminder that when it comes to skincare, more isn't always better.

Overall, this routine was effective in making my face appear brighter and less dull. I tend to exfoliate sporadically, so the mild and regular exfoliation provided by the green tea enzymes in the line is very suitable for my lifestyle. I just need to be careful with over exfoliation so I don’t develop more sensitivity in my skin. I would definitely be interested if Innisfree adds an eye cream to this lineup as the Innisfree Vitamin C product range has proven to be a good and dependable one.
